RECOGNITION OF FIRST DISTRICT ACHIEVERS. The Municipality of Loon played host to the athletes of the First District when Bohol First District Representative, Cong. Edgar M. Chatto, took the time to honor them during the Recognition of First District Achievers of the Provincial Meet 2009 on the afternoon of June 12, 2009 a the Loon Sports and Cultural Center. The athletes, who came with their coaches from the 14 towns of the First District, received from Cong. Chatto cash incentives for their winning performances during the Provincial Meet 2009 held in Carmen town. Gold medallists  of ball or group games received a cash prize of P5,000.00; silver medallists P3,000.00, and bronze awardees P1,000.00. On the other hand, individual winners received P1,000, P500.00 and P100.00 for gold, silver and bronze respectively. 

          The First District solon was welcomed by Loon officials led by Vice Mayor Edwin R. Ladeza,. along with SB Kag. Precy Branzuela, Loon LnB president Cesar R.
