PHASE 1 CONSTRUCTION OF LOON, BOHOL INTERNATIONAL CRUISE SHIP PORT. Phase 1 in the construction of the Philippines’ first international cruise ship port outside of Manila has commenced in May this year in barangay Catagbacan Norte, Loon, Bohol. Photo shows huge steel posts being put in place in the expansion area where international luxury ships will be berthed. The P80-Million project is scheduled to be inaugurated in April-May next year according to PPA-Bohol, and is expected to place the Municipality of Loon and the Province of Bohol in the global tourism map.
