Municipality of Loon | First Congressional District Athletic Meet

In lower photo, Loon Mayor Lloyd Lopez, M.D. gives the handsome Elementary Division championship trophy to Team 1-B delegation heads Loon North District Coordinating Principal Ma. Rowena L. Balduman and Loon District Supervisor Fernando A. Castañares during the awarding ceremonies on January 13, 2009. Team 1-B composed of the school districts of Calape, Loon and Tubigon bagged the championship of the Elementary Division, with Team 1-C and Team 1-A as first runner-up and second runner-up respectively. In the Secondary Division, Team 1-C, composed of the school districts of Antequera, Balilihan, Catigbian, Cortes and Maribojoc, clinched the championship with Unit 1-B as first runner-up and Unit 1-A as second runner-up. Team 1-A is composed of the school districts of Antequera, Baclayon, Corella, Dauis, Sikatuna and Panglao. The respective champions in the Elementary and Secondary Divisions will represent the First Congressional District in the Bohol Provincial Athletic Meet which will be held in the municipality of Carmen this coming February 11-13, 2009.
