"Andalucia" is a replica of a 17th century galleon that figured in trade activities between Asia, Europe, and the Americas
a long time ago.

The galleon arrived at Catagbacan Internationa Port, Loon, Bohol, from Government Officials, the diplomatic community,
cultural workers, students, Officials from the Bohol Province and Staff, LGU Loon and the general public who welcome's
the ceremony.

"Andalucia," the wooden galleon replica, was made by the Nao Victoria Foundation. Its sails were made in Ilocos.
The galleon was docked in China for the World Expo 2010.

The public can board "Andalucia" and view the traveling museum on board. Entrance is free from October 23-26.
Viewing hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The 30-strong Spanish crew on board was also excited to visit the Philippines

"I know that Spanish and Philippine culture have so much in common and I want to experience it,"
said Monica, one of the crew members.

My favorite part would have to be the Admiral’s Room as it looked more of a hotel suite with an aristocratic sofa set,
a huge table which was adorned by Sto. Niño.

But on the halls leading to the cabins, you would notice the insignias placed on the walls and one of the crew members,
Jose, told us that they are actually given by people along the way. One such was their stopover in China for the World Expo.
