The Municipality of Loon, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Pedro M. Literatus Jr., has officially issued Executive Order No. 30, Series of 2026, lifting Executive Order No. 27 and Executive Order No. 27-1, which were previously implemented in response to the national fuel and energy crisis.
With the issuance of this new Executive Order, restrictions on public activities—including community gatherings, sports programs, and similar undertakings—are hereby lifted, allowing barangays, organizations, and the general public to resume lawful activities, subject to existing laws, municipal ordinances, and public safety regulations.
However, despite the lifting of these restrictions, the LGU emphasizes the continued importance of energy conservation and prudent use of government resources. All government offices, barangays, officials, employees, and constituents are strongly encouraged to sustain energy-saving practices such as minimizing electricity consumption, reducing unnecessary travel and fuel usage, and promoting efficiency in all public and private undertakings.
This initiative reaffirms the Municipality’s commitment to responsible governance in line with national directives and the General Welfare Clause under Republic Act No. 7160, ensuring that while normal activities resume, sustainability and resource efficiency remain a shared responsibility of every Loonanon.
Executive Order No. 30 took effect immediately upon signing on April 29, 2026, and shall remain in force until amended or superseded by subsequent issuances.
