Today, the Municipality of Loon joins the entire Province of Bohol in commemorating Carlos P. Garcia Day—a tribute to the life and legacy of one of the nation’s most respected leaders and a true Boholano statesman, President Carlos P. Garcia. His “Filipino First Policy” continues to remind us of the value of nationalism, economic self-reliance, and the preservation of our cultural identity.
