










The Municipality of Loon formally commenced its Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Opening Meeting held on April 13, 2026, marking the beginning of a municipality-wide assessment scheduled from April 13 to April 16, 2026 across key service areas and offices.
The audit is led by Mr. Jerry P. Rulona, IQA Team Leader, together with the appointed Internal Quality Audit Team Leaders and members, undertaking a comprehensive review of the Municipality’s adherence to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards, including alignment with the Quality Manual, Citizen’s Charter, Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR), Division Performance Commitment and Review (DPCR), and other applicable regulatory, statutory, and customer requirements.
The audit coverage includes three major sites:
- Site 1 / Headquarters: Municipality of Loon
- Site 2: Municipality of Loon – RHU 1
- Site 3: Municipality of Loon – RHU 2
With key focus areas on:
- Provision of basic social services
- Local legislation processes
- Project and program implementation, evaluation, and management
- Delivery of health services including general medical consultation, issuance of medical certificates, immunization and vaccination services, birthing services, and management programs for communicable and non-communicable diseases
This undertaking highlights the Municipality’s strong commitment to continuous improvement, transparency, accountability, and service excellence, ensuring that every process is aligned with quality standards and responsive to the needs of every Loonanon.
