Once again, the world has witnessed the excellence of Boholano talent as Koro Seraphim, with the participation of our very own Loonanons Mr. Jon Marco Panio of Catagbacan Handig and Mr. Ronel James Primacio of Moto Sur, shone brightly at the AOVICF 2025 (Ateneo de Manila University, August 20–24, 2025).
Competing against 35 distinguished choirs from across the globe, Koro Seraphim achieved remarkable victories, bringing home the following prestigious awards:
- Gold Award – Musica Sacra
- Gold Award – Mixed Choir Category
- 2nd Prize Winner – Mixed Choir Category
- Best Performance of Contest Piece – “Umáy Gu-lai” by National Artist Ryan Cayabyab
Under the baton of their esteemed conductor, Ms. Mari Aleli Antoni-Inting, Koro Seraphim continues to uphold its mission of offering music that inspires, uplifts, and unites. Their journey from their beginnings as a church-based choir at St. Joseph Cathedral in Tagbilaran City to becoming an internationally acclaimed ensemble is a testament to their discipline, artistry, and unwavering dedication.
The Municipality of Loon, through the leadership of Mayor Cesar Tomas “Yul” M. Lopez, extends heartfelt congratulations and deepest gratitude for the honor and recognition brought not only to our town, but to the entire Province of Bohol and the Philippines.
As we celebrate this success, we honor the hard work, perseverance, and passion of Koro Seraphim and our proud Loonanon representatives. Indeed, this victory is not only theirs, but a triumph for all Loonanons and Boholanos who continue to soar high in the global stage of excellence.
