
The Local Government Unit of Loon, through the Office of the Mayor and the Loon Public Market Administration, hereby informs the public of the Notice of Vacancy and Invitation to Bid for available stalls at the Mercado de Loon.
Overview of the Advisory:
Several public market stalls, as listed in the official poster indicating the Stall Number, Location, Authorized Use, and Starting Bid, are hereby declared vacant and open for public bidding.
Who May Participate:
Any individual twenty-one (21) years old and above, who is not legally incapacitated, is qualified to apply and participate in the bidding process.
How to Participate:
Interested applicants must accomplish the prescribed application form, which may be obtained from the Office of the Market Administrator at Mercado de Loon during regular office hours.
Site Inspection:
All vacant stalls are open for inspection prior to the bidding schedule. Applicants are encouraged to coordinate with the Market Administrator to confirm and inspect their preferred stalls.
Important Dates and Process:
Posting of Bid Notices: January 19, 2026, in three (3) conspicuous places
Filing of Sealed Bid Applications: From January 19, 2026 until before 12:00 noon of February 08, 2026 at the Office of the Market Administrator
Required documents upon submission:
- Biodata (3 copies)
- 2”x2” ID Picture (3 copies)
- Police Clearance
- Barangay Clearance
- Valid ID (photocopy)
Opening of Sealed Bids: February 09, 2026, 9:00 AM, at the Mercado de Loon Function Hall (2nd Floor)
Important Reminder:
Failure of the winning bidder to pay the required occupancy fee within three (3) days from the date of award shall result in the cancellation of the award and the conduct of a rebidding for the concerned stall.
The LGU of Loon reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the offer deemed most advantageous to the Municipality.
Interested parties are encouraged to participate and be part of a transparent and orderly public market system in Loon.
