The Municipality of Loon formally commenced its ISO 9001:2015 1st Surveillance Audit through an Opening Meeting conducted with the audit team from TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. last May 20, 2026, reaffirming the Local Government Unit’s unwavering commitment to quality public service and institutional excellence.
The two-day surveillance audit covered the three certification scopes of the LGU, namely the Municipal Hall, RHU 1, and RHU 2, where concerned offices and departments underwent assessment for the continued implementation, effectiveness, and compliance of the established Quality Management System under the ISO 9001:2015 Standards.
The activity was attended and fully supported by Municipal Mayor, Vice Mayor, department heads, process owners, and municipal personnel, whose cooperation and dedication reflect the Municipality’s shared vision of delivering responsive, transparent, and citizen-centered governance.
Through the ISO framework, LGU-Loon continues to strengthen accountability, operational consistency, and continual improvement across its frontline services and internal processes for the benefit of every Loonanon. The surveillance audit likewise serves as an important mechanism in ensuring that the municipality sustains internationally recognized standards in governance and public administration.
As the audit proper progressed throughout the two-day activity, the Municipality remained hopeful and confident in its continued pursuit of quality excellence, anchored on teamwork, professionalism, and public trust.
