The Local Government Unit of Loon, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Dr. Cesar Tomas M. Lopez, calls on all parents and guardians to support the municipality’s intensified Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA) by ensuring that children aged 6 to 59 months receive their free measles and rubella vaccine.
As part of the Municipality’s commitment to safeguarding public health, the campaign aims to protect every eligible child against vaccine-preventable diseases and strengthen community immunity. Vaccination remains one of the safest and most effective ways to prevent the spread of measles and rubella, helping every child grow up healthy and protected.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the nearest temporary or permanent vaccination site in their respective barangays to receive the vaccine.
