The Municipality of Loon successfully held its 42nd Regular Flag-Raising Ceremony of 2025 this morning at the Loon Center Ground, led by Mayor Pedro M. Literatus, Jr. and Vice Mayor Jorge J. Marapao, Jr., together with the honorable members of the 16th Sangguniang Bayan, the municipal employees, representatives from the National Government Agencies, and the dedicated personnel of BFP- and PNP-Loon. The event was hosted by the snappy men of the Philippine National Police-Loon, who once again exemplified discipline and patriotism in their conduct of the ceremony.

Representing the Municipal Chief Executive, Municipal Administrator Dr. Lloyd Peter M. Lopez delivered the executive message, conveying the administration’s appreciation and recognition for the efforts of the day’s host, the PNP-Loon, for leading the ceremony with order and pride. Dr. Lopez also extended heartfelt thanks to the Rural Health Unit II (RHU-2) and the Municipal Health Officer for the successful conduct of the recent Medical Outreach Program held last October 15, 2025, at Bagacay Kawayan, which served the three barangays of Bagacay Saong, Bagacay Katipuhan, and Kawayan. He expressed gratitude to the Municipal Health Office, RHU-2, the dedicated barangay officials and volunteers, and the Committee on Health of the Sangguniang Bayan of Loon for their active participation and unwavering support in delivering essential health services to the people.
Through this initiative, the Local Government of Loon reaffirms its continuing commitment to accessible healthcare, public service, and community collaboration—values that lie at the heart of a Loon Madanihon.
Meanwhile, the QMS Office extends its sincerest apologies for the interrupted live broadcast of today’s flag-raising ceremony due to unavoidable device overheating, which occurred twice during the stream. Rest assured, necessary technical measures are being taken to prevent future disruptions and ensure a smoother live coverage of our upcoming events.
Making Loon Madanihon rise and shine… from local to global!
