The Local Government Unit of Loon proudly congratulates the Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation of Loon (SKMF-Loon) for being hailed as the Bohol Most Outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan Federation (Category A) during the Bigger and Bolder 2025 Bohol SK Provincial Federation Congress, held at the Bohol Tropics Resort, Tagbilaran City on October 25, 2025.
This remarkable recognition, accompanied by a ₱100,000 cash award under the First Annual Incentives Program, stands as a testament to the Federation’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, participatory governance, and transparent leadership. The award is anchored on Provincial Ordinance No. 2025-002, authored and sponsored by Hon. Lawrence Xavier C. Ancla, the SK Provincial Federation President and concurrently the SKMF-Loon President.
In the spirit of fairness, Hon. Ancla voluntarily inhibited himself from all matters related to the evaluation of Loon’s entry, entrusting the leadership to SKMF Vice President Hon. Mariel L. Juntilla, who courageously led the team in fulfilling rigorous requirements within a short time frame. Their entry, centered on the BRIDGE Program (Building Responsive Initiatives for Development and Governance Excellence), embodies the theme “LOON MADANIHON: Leading the Charge, Setting the Standard.”
The program’s holistic design—covering youth leadership, creativity, environmental protection, sports development, and civic engagement—reflects the Municipality’s strong commitment to nurturing responsible and dynamic young leaders. This triumph represents not only the brilliance of Loonanon youth but also the collaborative support of the LGU-Loon, Barangay SK Chairpersons, Department Heads, and every partner who believes in the power of youth participation in nation-building.
