Cebu City, Philippines – August 10, 2025 — The pride of Loon shines bright on the global stage as the Sidlak Loon Arnis Club, Branch of Arnis De Caballes Loon Chapter, brought home an impressive 24 medals from the recently concluded SGM Cacoy Cañete FMA Fest 2025 World Tournament, held at Cebu Technological University–Main Campus, Cebu City from August 6–10, 2025.
Representing the Municipality of Loon, the 21 skilled Arnisadors showcased world-class talent, discipline, and fighting spirit, earning:

* 20 Bronze Medals
These victories are a testament to the relentless training and dedication of Loon’s young athletes:

Rheanelle Maglasang, Maria Michaella Nicole Pedrigal, Khin Priam Mellijor, Lrhex Ibañez, Reshyl Mae Catersang, Phoebe Diane Adtoon, Eden Marie Bacalla, Jeser L. Rubin, Kent Lester Tandoc, and Giff Pregonta — each one carrying the name of Loon with pride and honor.
Special recognition goes to Coach/Master Jonathan T. Carnice, whose leadership, skill, and unwavering guidance molded the team into a force to be reckoned with on the world stage.
This achievement was made possible with the full support of Mayor Yul Lopez and the 16th Sangguniang Bayan headed by Vice Mayor Dodong Literatus, proving once again that sports development thrives when passion meets community support.
