The Municipality of Loon, under the directive of Mayor Pedro “Dodong” M. Literatus, Jr., hereby announces the suspension of Face-to-Face Classes in all levels, both public and private, on November 24, 2025.
This decision follows the advisory from PAGASA, which forecasts Orange Rainfall Warning conditions (100–200 mm/hr) on November 24–25 and reports a high chance of the current Low Pressure Area (LPA 11B) developing into a Tropical Depression within 24 hours. These conditions may bring heavy to intense rains, potential widespread flooding, and landslides in vulnerable areas.
All schools in Loon are strongly encouraged to implement Alternative Learning Modes to ensure the continuity of instruction during the suspension.
The Municipality also places all Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Units on heightened alert for possible emergency response.
We urge all Loonanon families to secure their homes, avoid flood-prone and landslide areas, remain vigilant, and monitor official announcements from the Municipal Government and DOST-PAGASA.
