Under the directive of Mayor Pedro “Dodong” M. Literatus, Jr., and in coordination with MDRRMO-Loon, the Municipal Government of Loon announces the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private, tomorrow, December 5, 2025.
This precautionary measure is in response to the localized effects of Tropical Depression Wilma, which is bringing light to moderate rains with occasional heavy showers, increasing the risk of localized flooding in low-lying and coastal barangays and minor landslides in upland areas.
All schools are encouraged to activate Alternative Learning Modes to ensure instructional continuity.
Residents are urged to stay vigilant, avoid hazard-prone areas, and monitor official updates from PAGASA, MDRRMO-Loon, and the Municipal Government of Loon.
