The Municipality of Loon warmly invites the public to join Musikaon sa Loon: Lavapalooza at the Loon Town Square, Loon, Bohol, hosted by the Philippine National Police – Loon in partnership with LGU-Loon, in celebration of Love Month and Valentine’s Day. The community gathering will feature a live performance by Nevermind Band, complemented by a PNP Information Drive on the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 (RA 9262), aimed at strengthening public awareness on the protection of women and children’s rights, the prevention of abuse, and the promotion of safe and respectful family and community relations.
Through the fusion of music and advocacy, the activity seeks to deepen public understanding of VAWC, encourage collective responsibility, and nurture a culture of dignity, care, and compassion—principles that truly reflect the essence of love and community solidarity. The Municipality of Loon encourages families, youth, and all residents to take part in this meaningful evening of learning, music, and unity at the town square.
