ADVISORY | NGCP SCHEDULED POWER INTERRUPTION on Monday, August 25, 2025
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has scheduled a power interruption affecting several municipalities within the franchise area of BOHECO I. This is to facilitate the replacement of poles, cross-arms, and insulators as part of system reliability and improvement works.
Power Interruption Schedule and Affected Areas:
6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Cortes
- Corella
- Sikatuna
- Maribojoc
- Antequera
- Loon
- Libertad
- Baclayon
- Alturas Piggery / Cortes Hospital
- Parts of Balilihan and Alburquerque
6:00 AM – 6:30 AM and 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM
- Loon (Catagbacan Norte/Handig, Cantomocad, Bahi, Pananquilon, Pondol)
- Calape (Tultugan, Liboron)
- Alturas Handig / Ortigas Prawn Pond
Advisory for Consumers:
We encourage all affected consumers to take the necessary precautions during the scheduled outage:
- Charge mobile phones, power banks, and other essential devices in advance.
- Prepare flashlights or emergency lights for temporary lighting needs.
- Unplug sensitive appliances and equipment to prevent damage from power fluctuations.
