The Municipality of Loon, through the Loon Waterworks System (LWS), advises all valued concessionaires of a scheduled water supply interruption on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to facilitate the maintenance of the water distribution system and the repair of a leaking 6-inch PVC transmission pipeline. This preventive maintenance activity is essential to improve the reliability and efficiency of the municipality’s water supply network.
During the scheduled interruption, residents in Badbad Occidental, Badbad Oriental, Tubodio, Cogon Sur, Basac, Cogon Norte, Moto Norte, Moto Sur, Napo, Lintuan, and Basdacu may temporarily experience low water pressure to no water supply. All affected households are strongly encouraged to store sufficient water in clean, covered containers before the scheduled shutdown. Water service may be restored earlier than the announced schedule should maintenance works be completed ahead of time; therefore, consumers are advised to consider all water lines energized at all times.
