Following the reassessment and directive of Municipal Mayor Pedro “Dodong” M. Literatus, Jr., the Municipality of Loon hereby announces the PARTIAL RESUMPTION OF CLASSES for both public and private schools starting Tuesday afternoon, October 14, 2025, for all Elementary and High School levels.
To ensure the continued safety of all learners and personnel, ALL CLASSES SHALL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON GROUND FLOORS of school buildings until further notice. The use of upper floors (2nd and 3rd levels) is STRICTLY PROHIBITED pending the completion of ongoing structural assessments and safety validations.
Meanwhile, Alternative Modes of Learning—including synchronous and asynchronous online classes as well as modular learning—are highly encouraged and shall be implemented as applicable to minimize exposure and ensure learning continuity.
The Local Government of Loon, through the Municipal Engineering Office, MDRRMO, and DepEd partners, continues to uphold its firm commitment to protect the welfare and safety of all students, teachers, and staff while maintaining a proactive stance toward disaster preparedness and resilience.
