The Municipality of Loon informs all residents that, based on the advisory issued by BOHECO I and the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), there may be possible power interruptions on June 3, 2026 (Wednesday), from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, due to the declaration of a Red Alert Status in the Visayas Grid caused by insufficient power supply.
While the interruption originates from NGCP’s transmission system and is beyond BOHECO I’s distribution network, residents of Loon are advised to prepare for potential service interruptions during the stated period. Power interruptions may be implemented as necessary to maintain the stability and reliability of the power grid.
Residents are encouraged to charge essential devices, secure important electronic equipment, and take the necessary precautions. Power restoration may occur without prior notice once the situation in the grid stabilizes.
The Municipality of Loon will continue to monitor updates from BOHECO I and NGCP and will provide further information as it becomes available.
