The Municipality of Loon informs the public, based on the advisory issued by BOHECO I, that a scheduled power service interruption will take place on April 15, 2026 (Wednesday) from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, affecting several barangays across the municipality.
The following areas in Loon will be temporarily de-energized from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM:
Bahi, Basdio, Biasong, Calayugan Norte, Calayugan Sur, Canhangdon Occidental, Canhangdon Oriental, Canigaan, Catagbacan Sur, Mocpoc Norte, Mocpoc Sur, and parts of Basac, Sondol, Ticugan, Ubayon, and Ubojan.
Meanwhile, Cabilao Island will experience a power interruption for the entire duration of the activity.
The scheduled interruption is necessary to facilitate the replacement of the recloser in Mocpoc Sur, Sandingan Island, Loon, as part of BOHECO I’s continuing efforts to strengthen the distribution system and ensure a more stable and reliable power supply.
Residents and establishments are advised to take necessary precautions, including switching off electrical appliances and preparing for the temporary outage. Power may be restored earlier than scheduled without prior notice once the activity is completed.
