The Municipality of Loon informs the public, based on the advisory issued by BOHECO I, that a scheduled power service interruption will affect several barangays in Loon on March 12, 2026 (Thursday) from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM due to ongoing power infrastructure works.
The following barangays in Loon will experience a 30-minute interruption from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM and another 30-minute interruption anytime in the afternoon:
Pondol, Panangquilon, and Bahi.
Meanwhile, Barangays Catagbacan Handig and Cantomocad will be without power for the entire duration of the activity from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The interruption is necessary to facilitate the continuation of the 69kV Line Construction, part of BOHECO I’s ongoing initiatives to strengthen the power distribution system and ensure a safer, more stable, and reliable electricity supply.
Residents and establishments in the affected areas are advised to take the necessary precautionary measures, including switching off electrical appliances and preparing for the temporary outage. Power may be restored earlier than scheduled once the work is completed.
