The Municipality of Loon informs the public of a program adjustment for the activities at the Loon Town Square. The scheduled live band performance for Lavapalooza has been cancelled to give way to the UB-LI Cheerdance Performances, which will be held separately at the same venue.
Please be advised that while the band performance is cancelled, the Lavapalooza set-up, venue operations, and food bazaar will continue as scheduled, ensuring that the public can still enjoy the community space, food stalls, and festive atmosphere at the town square. This coordination allows both activities to be accommodated smoothly while giving priority to the school-based event.
The Municipality of Loon thanks the public for their understanding and continued support, and encourages everyone to extend their appreciation to our young performers while also supporting local vendors participating in the Lavapalooza.
