The Municipality of Loon informs the public, based on the official advisory from the BOHECO Loon Official Facebook Page, that a scheduled power interruption will affect selected barangays in Loon on February 17, 2026 (Tuesday), from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in connection with ongoing power system improvement works.
The following barangays in Loon will experience a power interruption for the entire duration of the activity:
Barangays Pondol, Panangquilon, Bahi, Cantomocad, and Catagbacan Handig.
The scheduled interruption is necessary to give way to the 69 kV line construction, which forms part of BOHECO’s continuing initiatives to ensure a safer, more stable, and higher-quality electric service for all Member-Consumer-Owners.
Residents and establishments in the affected barangays are advised to take the necessary precautionary measures, including switching off electrical equipment and preparing for the temporary outage. Power restoration will commence as soon as the activity is safely completed.
