The Municipal Government of Loon, through the Loon Waterworks System (LWS), informs the public that the Antaeg–Biasong Spring Pump Station remains non-operational due to severe damage caused by Typhoon Verbena, specifically affecting its pump pedestal column pipe and G.I. riser pipe. Because this pumping station is the primary water source for several barangays in Loon North, the shutdown has significantly limited our water production and distribution capacity.
Repair and restoration works are now ongoing, carried out with urgency to bring the system back to normal operation as soon as possible. LWS teams are exerting all efforts to ensure a safe and complete repair of the station.
In line with these circumstances, a new water rationing schedule will be implemented starting November 29, 2025 to ensure fair and continuous distribution of the available supply:

Water will be alternately distributed every other day from 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM between:

Water is available TODAY in LOON NORTH (Canhangdon Occidental to Catagbacan Norte), and TOMORROW in the whole of SANDINGAN ISLAND.
We strongly advise all consumers to store clean water in advance and use water responsibly throughout this rationing period.
