Fresh from their remarkable performance at the 3rd ACCID Martial Arts Festival for a Cause held on November 28–30, 2025 in Cagayan de Oro City, the Sidlak Loon Arnis Club – Arnis de Caballes Branch once again visited Mayor Pedro “Dodong” M. Literatus Jr. today to present their achievements and discuss the team’s continuing advocacy.
Carrying the festival’s theme “SPARTAN: Awaken the Warrior Spirit,” the Loon delegation embodied strength, resilience, and unity—bringing pride to the Municipality by securing an impressive 29 total medals:

Grand Master April Max Caballes likewise shared the team’s goals moving forward—expanding networks for greater exposure, promoting Loon tourism through martial arts, and strengthening their advocacy against illegal vices by empowering the youth through sports.
Mayor Literatus expressed his full support, emphasizing coordination with the Loon Sports Committee through Hon. Mariel Juntilla to help sustain the team’s growth and expand their opportunities.
