The Municipality of Loon joins the entire Filipino nation, and most especially our brothers and sisters in Cebu, in joyfully commemorating the 461st Feast of the Señor Santo Niño, the wellspring of Christian faith in the Philippines and a living symbol of God’s enduring love for His people.
Today’s celebration is more than a festivity—it is a profound expression of gratitude, hope, and unwavering devotion. For centuries, the image of the Santo Niño has guided generations of Filipinos through trials and triumphs, reminding us of humility, obedience, compassion, and childlike trust in God. From the shores of Cebu to communities across the Visayas and beyond, the cry of “Pit Señor!” echoes as a prayer of faith and thanksgiving, uniting believers in one spirit.
As we honor this sacred milestone, we pray that the Santo Niño continues to bless every faithful, grant petitions according to God’s divine will, and strengthen our perseverance in faith. May His presence nurture unity in our families, peace in our communities, and integrity in public service. Inspired by the Holy Child, may we always choose love, service, and righteousness in our daily lives.
On this momentous occasion, the people of Loon offer our prayers and heartfelt devotion, renewing our commitment to live out the values of faith, hope, and charity that the Santo Niño so beautifully represents. Viva Señor Santo Niño! Viva Pit Señor!
