The Municipality of Loon, through the Loon Waterworks System (LWS), informs all residents and concessionaires of an emergency water interruption on June 3, 2026 (Wednesday), from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN, due to the temporary shutdown of the Danicop-Ticugan Pumping Station. This interruption is necessary to give way to the BOHECO transfer of post at the Ticugan line, which requires the temporary suspension of pumping operations.
As a result, consumers in the whole of Sandingan Island and Cabilao Island may experience low water pressure to no water supply during the scheduled activity. Residents are encouraged to store adequate water for essential household needs and use available water responsibly throughout the interruption period.
