The Municipality of Loon, through the Loon Waterworks System (LWS), informs the public of a temporary water supply interruption on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, due to the emergency repair of a 4-inch mainline located at Moto Sur near RHU I. This urgent maintenance activity is necessary to address the leak and ensure the continued reliability of the municipality’s water distribution system.
The repair works will affect the operations of Cogon Norte Pumping Station 1 and 2 as well as the Moto Sur Pumping Station, resulting in possible low water pressure to no water supply in the affected areas, including Cogon Norte, Moto Norte, Moto Sur, Napo, Lintuan, Basdacu, and Basac. Residents are advised to store sufficient water for essential household needs before the scheduled repair period.
