On May 19, 2025, 20th Regular Flag-Raising ceremony of 2025 at the Municipality of Loon Center Ground led by Mayor Elvi Peter L. Relampagos and Vice Mayor Lloyd Peter M. Lopez, M.D. and the 15th Sangguniang Bayan with the Municipal Employees, NGA’s, BFP- and PNP-Loon hosted by Loon Manpower Development Center (LMDC).
Highlights:
* During the flag-raising ceremony, the Municipal Mayor Elvi Peter L. Relampagos emphasized the importance of patriotism and respect for our Philippine flag. He also announced that newly elected officials of the Municipality of Loon will officially take office on June 30, 2025. This event serves as a reminder to honor our nation’s symbols and the leaders who will guide us in the future.
* The Vice-Mayor-Elect Pedro “Dodong” Literatus, Jr. delivered a heartfelt address, expressing profound gratitude to the Municipal Mayor for his nine years of dedicated service to Loon. He acknowledged the unwavering support from everyone present on his journey and emphasized the importance of unity and reconciliation in overcoming political conflicts. With a hopeful vision, he called for all community members to come together hand in hand, fostering peace and working towards common goals in public service. A special thanks was extended to all office heads from both Local Government and NGAs, as well as to the BFP and PNP Loon for their commitment. Together, he hopes that the spirit of service will prevail in our beloved municipality.
