With the alarming rise of HIV cases, especially among young people aged 15 to 25, early detection has never been more important. Getting tested early is key to preventing complications and starting treatment when needed — because knowing your status is the first step toward a healthier life.
As part of the 273rd Founding Anniversary of the Municipality of Loon, the Loon Rural Health Unit 2 and Birthing Center, in partnership with the Bohol Provincial Health Office, will be holding a Free HIV Community-Based Testing and Counseling on June 22, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Colegio de Loon.
With the theme:
“Beyond the Stigma: Know Your Status, Own Your Health, Know Your Future”
This activity will feature HIV 101 education, open voluntary testing, and counseling sessions to raise awareness and empower Loonanons with knowledge and support.
Don’t be afraid—awareness is powerful. Let’s break the stigma and choose to be informed. Your participation could save lives — including your own.
Rest assured, your privacy is protected under Republic Act 11166 (Philippine HIV and AIDS Policy Act). All test results are strictly confidential and will only be shared between you and the trained health professional assisting you.
Be responsible. Be informed. Be safe. Magpa-test na para sa himsog nga kaugmaon!
Making Loon Madanihon rise and shine… from Local to Global!
