In celebration of the much-awaited SidlaKasilak Festival 2025, the 16th Sangguniang Bayan of Loon, headed by Vice Mayor Pedro M. Literatus, Jr., and spearheaded by the Committee on Culture, Heritage, Arts, Talents , Skills (CHATS) and Socio -Cultural Affairs chaired by Hon. Jeanette Vidal, in proud partnership with the Local Government Unit of Loon, brings you PANAGTIGI | Battle of the Bands 2025 — an electrifying showcase of musical talent, creativity, and community pride that amplifies the voice of Loonanon artistry!
This is not just a competition—it’s a musical showdown that fosters community pride, honors our cultural heritage, and empowers the next generation of Loonanon musicians. Whether you’re a new band looking for your big break or seasoned performers aiming to shine even brighter, this is your chance to share your music with the world.
APPLICATION MECHANICS
* Open to all bands from Loon and across Bohol
* Band Group must consist of at least 4 and a maximum of 9 members ages 18 years old and above
SELECTION ROUND (Preliminary Submission)
* Submit a demo video of your performance (any song of choice, any genre)
* Maximum length: 3 minutes
Deadline for Submission: August 9, 2025
* Demo video may be submitted in-person (flash drive) or via Google Form (https://forms.gle/x3vgvTRoXJZyy6p77)
* Selected bands will be contacted and will qualify to perform during the Final Showdown.
FINAL SHOWDOWN DETAILS
Venue: Loon Town Square Grounds
Date: September 7, 2025 (Sunday)
Time: 8:00 PM
* Each band will be given 10 minutes total, including setup
* Bands must bring their own instruments/equipment
* PANAGTIGI Team will provide the audio system setup
* Maximum of 8 bands will perform live during the contest.
PRIZES AWAIT THE BEST BANDS!
* Champion – ₱15,000
* 1st Runner-Up – ₱10,000
* 2nd Runner-Up – ₱7,000
* Consolation Prize – ₱3,000 (for non-placing finalists)

- Demo Video or Audio Submission

- Screening and verifying eligibility for the contest
- Contacting participants regarding competition-related matters
- Publicity purposes in relation to PANAGTIGI 2025 (e.g., posting of qualified band names or winning entries)
3. Data Security and Access
