CREATION OF A WORKOUT COOKOUT FESTIVAL COMMITTEE FOR THE OBSERVANCE OF NUTRITION MONTH 2025

In celebration of this year’s National Nutrition Month this July, the Municipality of Loon is taking a dynamic step toward promoting healthier lifestyles and combating unhealthy habits among its residents.
Through the leadership of the Municipal Nutrition Council and the Municipal Health Office, and in strong partnership with the Department of Health – Central Visayas Center for Health Development, Loon will be launching a Workout Cookout Festival designed to engage the community in fun, educational, and health-centered activities.
To ensure the smooth planning and execution of this initiative, Executive Order No. 16, Series of 2025, was issued on June 5, 2025, establishing the official Workout Cookout Festival Committee. This committee will be responsible for preparing activities that promote proper nutrition, physical fitness, and overall well-being as part of the month-long observance.
