This July, the Municipality of Loon proudly joins the entire nation in celebrating the 51st Nutrition Month, honoring our collective commitment to ensure that every Loonanon has access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food—especially our children, solo parents, senior citizens, and the most vulnerable in our community.
Under the theme “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” with the sub-theme “Food at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”, we reaffirm that good nutrition is not a privilege, but a basic right that every family should enjoy.
The Municipality of Loon stands firm in its vision to build a future where nutritious food is accessible, affordable, and available for all. We continue to strengthen our local programs on health, agriculture, food security, and livelihood—empowering households to grow their own food, support local produce, and make healthier food choices every day.
This celebration is also a reminder for each of us to take part in this mission. Let’s work together as one community:
✅ Support community and backyard gardening
✅ Choose local and fresh produce from our farmers
✅ Teach our children the value of healthy eating
✅ Be proactive in spreading nutrition awareness in our barangays
To our partners in nutrition—the Barangay Nutrition Scholars, health workers, schools, farmers, parents, and every Loonanon—we thank you for your dedication and hard work in nurturing healthy communities. Your efforts save lives, build futures, and strengthen our Loon Madanihon spirit!
Together, let’s make Food and Nutrition Security a Priority!
Sapat na pagkain, karapatan nating lahat!
Mabuhay ang Loon! Mabuhay ang Nutrisyon!
Making Loon Madanihon rise and shine… from Local to Global!
