Join the “KINANTAHAY SA LOON 2025 | Vocal Solo Singing Competition”
As part of the grand celebration of SidlaKasilak Festival 2025, the Local Government Unit of Loon is proud to present this musical showcase that highlights the passion, artistry, and vocal excellence of our very own Loonanons.
This competition is open exclusively to all Loonanons who are 15 to 40 years old, including:
* Loonanon (must present a Barangay Certification)
* If not a resident of Loon, the contestant must show proof (such as Birth Certificate) that either of the parents is a Loonanon)
* Spouses of Loonanons who have taken residence within the municipality (must also present Barangay Certification).
Performance Requirements:
Prepare a 3–5-minute musical piece of your choice for the Elimination Round.

The Elimination shall be held at the Loon Town Square Grounds at 8:00 o’clock in the evening.
The Top 3 finalists will advance to the Grand Finals on September 3, 2025.
Grand Finals Prizes:
First Prize: ₱10,000.00
Second Runner-Up: ₱7,000.00
Third Runner-Up: ₱5,000.00
Consolation Prize: ₱1,000.00
Criteria for Judging:
Quality of Voice – 30%
Control and Technique – 30%
Interpretation and Expression – 15%
Mastery of Lyrics – 15%
Audience Impact – 10%
Registration Options:
a) Visit the Office of the Mayor – Proper (Main Municipal Building) and look for Wowie Agbon. Submit your name, age, address, contact number, and Barangay Certification.
