The Municipality of Loon proudly celebrates the outstanding international success of two of our very own talented Loonanons — Mr. Ronel James Primacio of Moto Sur and Mr. Marco Panio of Catagbacan Handig — who have brought great pride and honor to our municipality, province, and country!
As members of the celebrated Koro Seraphim, a Bohol-based choral group, they won GOLD AWARDS in two major categories — Mixed Choir and Musica Sacra — at the Taipei International Choir Competition 2025, held from July 30 to August 1 in Taipei, Taiwan. This prestigious global event gathered choirs from around the world, showcasing the best in choral artistry.
In a heartfelt message of gratitude, Ronel James Primacio shared:
“Our first International Trip in Taipei International Choral Competition 2025 wins GOLD AWARDS! These GOLD Awards are both Mixed Choir and Musica Sacra Categories. Me and Jon Marco Paño are very thankful for your unwavering support. USWAG LOON!”
Your success not only exemplifies musical excellence but also reflects the spirit, discipline, and artistry of every Loonanon. Your voices echoed far beyond borders—uplifting the image of Loon as a hub of world-class talent and resilient artistry.
We also extend our warmest congratulations to the entire Koro Seraphim family, whose collective passion and dedication brought this victory to fruition. You have raised the banner of Bohol and the Philippines in the world of music, and we stand in admiration of your remarkable achievement.
Mabuhay kayo, Ronel and Marco! Mabuhay ang Koro Seraphim! Mabuhay ang Loonanon talent!
