We are thrilled to announce that the Municipality of Loon has been awarded the NPC Seal and Certificate of Registration for Data Privacy (In pursuant to Section 2 of RA No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA)).
This achievement, spearheaded by our dedicated Data Privacy Officers (DPOs), Engr. Alan L. Relator, EnP and Mrs. Ma. Marnelli L. Maquindang, RSW, underscores our commitment to ensuring the security and protection of personal data within our community. By successfully registering our data system with the National Privacy Commission, we are taking significant strides towards fostering trust and responsibility in how we handle sensitive information.
