With the steady leadership of our Municipal Local Government Operations Office (MLGOO), the transition process was carefully structured and implemented, recognizing the vital role of the outgoing and incoming administration. The MLGOO also affirmed the crucial role of the Mayor’s first 100 days in sustaining momentum and inspiring a culture of excellence and accountability in service delivery.
** At the core of this transition are our people and our shared legacy. **
Under the stewardship of Mayor Elvi Peter L. Relampagos as Chairperson, and Ms. Glenda A. Laude as our dedicated MLGOO Focal Person and Convenor, the Transition Team worked hand in hand with the committed Department Heads, Office Chiefs, and Civil Society Organization representatives. Their collective efforts ensured that every document, every property, and every process was accounted for and ready for the next administration’s stewardship.

Key activities included:
✔️ An inventory of all LGU properties, with detailed documentation and updated conditions
✔️ The safeguarding of vital records—spanning governance, finance, development plans, health, agriculture, and more
✔️ A clear and comprehensive Final Transition Report, capturing insights, challenges, and actionable recommendations for future transitions
✔️ A formal turnover ceremony and briefings, equipping our new leaders with the information and guidance they need to lead effectively
✔️ Post-election debriefings and orientation sessions to uphold the LGU’s tradition of participatory and accountable governance
This is more than a formality — it is our declaration that good governance never stops. It is a testament to how the people of Loon, from the Sangguniang Bayan to every department and office, remain committed to continuity, progress, and meaningful public service.

As we affirm the transition, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing officials for their selfless dedication and visionary leadership — and we rally behind our newly elected and re-elected leaders as they begin their journey of service, guided by the same principles of integrity, transparency, and excellence that made Loon the first ISO 9001:2015 Certified Municipal LGU in Bohol.
This smooth and accountable transition is proof that Loon is ready for the future — a future of sustained progress, inclusive development, and shared responsibility. Together, we rise higher, guided by our people’s trust, a culture of quality, and an unwavering vision of a globally competitive Loon.
Making Loon Madanihon rise and shine from Local to Global!
