Municipality of Loon Mayor Elvi Peter L. Relampagos (center with microphone) emphasizes a point during his message to the barangay officials consisting of the second batch in the two-day Katarungang Pambarangay Skills Enhancement Workshop held on May 16-17, 2024 at the Loon Municipal Hall Activity Center. The 67 barangays were divided into six batches which started on May 15-16, 2024 until June 6-7, 2024. The purpose of the workshop is to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge and comprehension on the Katarungang Pambarangay Law including the administration, management and operation of the Lupong Tagapamayapa and the Pangkat ng Tagapagkasundo that involve the procedures in settling disputes among barangay constituents. The ongoing workshop is facilitated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Loon through MLGOO Glenda A.
