June 1, 2023 – Loon Municipal Police Station personnel led by the Chief of Police (OIC), PCPT VICTOR P TAGSA, JR, together with PSMS Leonora M Molina and PCpl Riche C Rebusa, conducted barangay visitation and symposium/lecture on Health and Safety to the students of Loon South National Highschool held at Barangay Taytay Covered Court, Loon, Bohol in coordination with the School Principal, Mr. Roel D. Dango and the Barangay Officials headed by the Punong Barangay, Laurentino S. Albelda, Jr.

Topics discussed were Alcohol and Smoking Addiction Awareness conducted by PCPT VICTOR P TAGSA, JR, Chief of Police (OIC) and Ill Effects of Illegal Drugs and the Punishable Acts and Penalties under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (R.A. 9165) conducted by PSMS Leonora M Molina, Chief PCR PNCO,, to educate the students and help them prevent the possible commission of crimes relating to it as well as prevent them to be victimized on the same.

The said activity was part of the Loon MPS Best Practice Program dubbed as “Ako’y Molupyo ug Edukadong Loonanon (A.M.E.L.) Program, a brainchild initiative of the former Chief of Police, PCPT AMELITO M MELLORIA, and continued and sustained by the current Chief of Police (OIC), PCT VICTOR P TAGSA, JR which is in line with 5-Focused Agenda of the Chief PNP, PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA, JR and the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030.
